Terms and conditions
These terms cover buying and using patterns from natagorfinlayson.com. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order you agree to them. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.
About us
This shop is run by Natagor Finlayson, who designs and sells the patterns, in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. To get in touch, email or use the contact form.
What you're buying
Each pattern is a downloadable PDF file. Nothing physical is sent. Patterns are written in English using American (US) crochet terms, with charts, written instructions and step photographs. Each pattern's page lists the skill level, yarn, hook and any other materials. Please check it before you buy.
Prices and payment
Prices are set in pounds sterling (GBP). You can choose to see and pay in another currency with the currency menu at the top of the page. Those prices are converted from pounds daily and rounded, and the price you see is the price you pay. If your currency isn't on the menu, you pay in pounds, and Stripe may offer to convert the total into your own currency at checkout. Depending on where you live, VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout. You'll always see the final total before you pay. UK buyers pay no VAT on patterns, because e-books are zero-rated.
Payment is taken by Stripe. Purchases are sold through Onelink, Stripe's reseller service, which handles the payment, any VAT or sales tax, and sends your receipt. The terms for the payment itself are shown on Stripe's checkout page, and your bank statement will show "ONELINK*".
Getting your pattern
As soon as your payment is confirmed, you're taken to a page where you can download your patterns, and the same link is emailed to you. The link works for 30 days. Please save the PDF somewhere safe. If you lose it later, you can get a new link for six years from your order, using the email address you bought with.
Your right to cancel
For things bought online, you normally have 14 days to change your mind. For digital downloads, that right ends once the download is made available, if you agree to this. At checkout you're asked to confirm that you want your pattern straight away and understand that you lose the right to cancel. This doesn't affect your right to a refund if something is wrong with the pattern. See the refund policy.
What you can do with the pattern
Natagor owns the copyright in every pattern: the text, charts and photographs. When you buy one, you may:
- use it to make as many flowers as you like, for yourself or as gifts;
- sell the flowers you make from it. A credit to Natagor Finlayson is always welcome but never required;
- print copies for your own use.
You may not share, copy, sell or give away the pattern itself (the PDF, printouts, or its text, charts or photographs), in whole or in part, or present it as your own. Please send friends to the shop instead. It's how Natagor keeps making new patterns.
If something goes wrong
If a file won't open, has missing pages or anything else is wrong with it, email with your order number and it will be put right, or you'll get a refund. See the refund policy.
Natagor isn't responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable when you bought, or for business losses (you're buying as a consumer). Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Using this website
Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to get into parts of it you shouldn't or interfering with how it works. The photographs, text and designs on the site are Natagor's and may not be copied without permission. Payment card icons by Datatrans, used under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be taken to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or abroad, you keep any protections the law where you live gives you, and you can bring a claim there.
