The crocus is a small closed cup on a short stem, and usually the first thing to come up through the ground after winter.

Twenty-three pages and advanced beginner, so it's quick. The cup shape holds because of how the petals join, and the pattern makes several so you can plant a group.

Crocuses are a group flower: a shallow pot of six or seven is how they grow and how they look best. A cheerful thing to have on a windowsill in February, when the real ones are still weeks away.

How do I download the pattern?

The PDF is available to download the moment payment clears, and a copy is sent to the email address you use at checkout. If you lose the file later, you can request it again with that same address.

How do I find the right yarn?

This one calls for DK · light worsted · 8 ply with a 1.5 mm hook. The brand matters far less than working firmly and evenly.

Some patterns also need easily found craft materials such as floral wire, floral tape and a glue gun.

What language is the pattern written in?

English only, in US standard terms. If you're comfortable with charts you can work most of the flower from those alone, with the photographs to help.

What's the refund policy?

Because the patterns are downloadable files, refunds aren't given once a pattern has been downloaded.
